Over the past ten years, I’ve been involved in many TV shows. Gladiators was of course my first job in this industry, but now things couldn’t be more different.
Motorbikes are something you either love with a passion or don’t really get at all. For me, I live’n breathe them.
I’m thoroughly enjoying being the Grid and Pitside Reporter for ITV’s British Superbike Championship coverage. I’m a huge fan of the series, and I reckon this year’s Championship is definitely the best we’ve had to date.
I became a TV presenter after Gladiators ended in 1999. I worked on motoring shows like Car Crazy Rio, Top Bikes, Two Wheels, Revved Up, Teen Trials, Top Gear GTI , The British Supermoto Championships, Pit Stop Bikes, Pulling Power, Fran’s Angels, Hell For Leather to name but a few.
I was also the pit-side reporter for Live Speedway for a season on Sky Sports and filmed an adventurous series with Mike Brewer for ITV called House Race in which we had to build two houses within 10 days . . . I’ll never again trust a builder who says “oh, you’re looking at a fortnight for that job love!”

‘Shortly after this picture was taken, she
jumped over six cars in this beast!’

she got a real bang on the head banger-racing after
rolling this Volvo’

‘Len Paget’s 320 bhp Pro- Stock Drag
Bike was blisteringly quick- Janie loved it!’
After presenting The British Supermoto Series for
Channel 4, Jane was invited to enter a celebrity race with other
motorcycling journalists at Lidden Hill. She rode a WR450 and had
so much fun that the marshals said they'd never heard anyone laughing
their way round a race track before!

‘Janie- during her celebrity scrabble for
dominance!’
